Genesis 8
21 And the Lord smelled a sweet savour; and the Lord said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man’s sake; for the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done. 22 While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.
Hmm… a little curious to what this means. God says he will not again curse the ground any more for man’s sake, for the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living.
Smite – strike hard, deal a blow?

Luke 8
7 The said he to the multitude that came forth to be baptized of him, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?
8 Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance, and begin not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, That God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.
9 And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: every tree therefore which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
17 Whose fan is in his hand, and he will thoroughly purge his floor, and will gather the wheat into his garner; but the chaff he will burn with fire unquenchable.

Proverbs

17 Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and al her paths are peace. 18 She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is every one that retaineth her. 19 The Lord by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding hath he established the heavens. 20 by his knowledge the depths are broken up, and the clouds drop down the dew.

Genesis 3
TREE OF LIFE vs the TREE OF THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOOD & EVIL
1. Is Christ the Tree of Life?
My thoughts:
I’m teetering on the thought. Only God will reveal the truth to me through meditation and the scriptures. Genesis is so much bigger than I ever gave it credit for. If Jesus was not the Tree of Life still the relevance is definitely there. Eating from the Tree of Life vs The Tree of knowledge of Good & Evil isn’t just Eve’s struggle but ours. God has instructed us through His commandments and through his words but yet we allow the devil in to challenge, twist and manipulate us. No matter how sin is dressed, sin is sin.Whenever we choose sin over eternal life the same thing that happened in Eden happens in us. When sin (eating from the tree of knowledge of good and evil) is upon us there is always Jesus (the Tree of Life) but yet we decide to disobey God and sin. Sin separates us from God which spiritually separates us from the Tree of Life with barricades.
Why did God guard the tree? The reason I thought the Tree might be Jesus is because I can understand it Jesus (eternal life) being taken away from us because of sin but if the tree of eternal life was not Jesus than why did God guard it. I don't know! Unless I move from the bigger picture and focus on the smaller one. God doesn't guard eternal life from us we do by choosing sin. You are either for God or against him. When you don't obey his law you are choosing to eat the forbidden fruit, which builds a wall, a swing blade, a guard around eternal life. (see 22:24)


Genesis 4
ENOCH
Enoch did not die, or it wasn’t said in the bible. Generations around him died but bible reads:
23 And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years: 24 And Enoch walked with God: and he was not, for God took him.

Luke 2
????
23 (As it is written in the law of the Lord, Every male that openeth the womb shall be called holy to the Lord;)

Psalm 2
Heathen (an unconverted individual of a people that do not acknowledge the god of the Bible; an irreligious, uncultured, or uncivilized person).

Reading from: New Living Translation

Isaiah 1:19

If you will only obey me,

you will have plenty to eat

So often we walk around starving for hope. We search the darkness until all that is left is utter desperation. That is what true hunger feels like, desperation!!! An endless search. If only we paid attention to the word of God and turned from our own methods. It is alright to give your problems to God while resting in His will. God promised to feed us with wisdom and knowledge all we have to do is obey.

Proverbs 15:17

A bowl of vegetables with someone you love

is better than a steak with someone you hate

If you disagree with the Proverb above then I apologize because you have never felt true love. Often we sit in stuffy lunches or dinners for business or personal gain. The most intimate and spiritual meals will always be with those you love. Cherish your love ones today, tomorrow and always.

Proverbs 17:09

Love prospers when a fault is forgiven,

but dwelling on it separates close friends

Everyone who has come and gone on this beautiful green earth has come with faults; except Jesus, of course (thank God). When you're sitting back with your arms crossed and your face drawn tight remember you aren't perfect so don't expect others to be. Love them for who they are because true friends are hard to come by.

I'm back

Guess who is blogging again! It is me... Jeweline!
Facebook limits my post to 420 words, I love to write so I always have a lot more to say.
I've been itching to write something but I keep starting stories I just don't finish them.
However, tonight I have it set in my mind that I will write something, even if it is a paragraph, I need to desk off my notebook and get back to what I love. I use to dream and sleep and breath writing. Speaking of things I need to get back to, I need to get back into bible study. Let us see how this works out or if I remember to blog tomorrow.
